Miniature Dachshund, Anyone?

Dachshunds, no matter how big or small, they are all lovable that you would want to keep and be part of your household…

When we hear the word “miniature”, we expect that it is smaller than the normal size of a thing.  Just like in dogs,  the miniature Dachshund  is just like a dwarf version of the standard Dachshund. They have the same coat varieties, long, low bodies and popularly called as “sausage dogs”.

Despite their small proportions, a miniature Dachshund is a strong and muscular dog with broad shoulders and hindquarters.  It has beautiful almond-shaped eyes that are set into a perfectly proportioned, long face.  It has an enormous variety of colours although tan and black are the  most widely seen colors.

Dog Weight Loss Tips

Dog obesity is a national epidemic, just as it is with ourselves. We have to relearn fitness and health and apply it to our pets also, to give them a chance of a healthier, happier life.

Dog Health Diet

An overweight dog does not look healthy, and this only occurs because of overfeeding, not because they choose this lifestyle. It is only through overfeeding that we make this happen to our pets.

Food intolerances, defined as a dog inability to digest a
certain kind of dog food, are far more common in dogs than food allergies.
Compare dog food intolerances to allergies: only 10% to 12% of the canine
population has allergies while up to 50% could suffer from an intolerance.
Nearly half of all dogs are unable to stomach a certain kind of food and could
become sick within half an hour of consuming it.
